Executive Summary
As a partner with the Firm, Bonnea practises in all areas of management-side labour and employment law. She provides practical and strategic advice to public and private sector employers, and she regularly works with her clients to help them navigate complex issues and challenges that arise in the workplace.
As an experienced advocate, Bonnea devotes a considerable portion of her practice to representing employers in legal proceedings ranging from grievance arbitrations, wrongful dismissal cases, human rights cases, and workplace safety and insurance matters. In addition, Bonnea has legal expertise in matters concerning workplace substance use, and she has developed extensive experience in working with safety-sensitive employers on matters concerning substance use and health and safety.
Bonnea is a founding member and the current Chair of the Firm’s Culture and Diversity Committee and is committed to advancing equity and inclusion in the legal profession.
