Executive Summary
Kareena Braich is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor. She previously completed both her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Work and Labour Studies at McMaster University. Her Masters research focused on the occupational health and safety hazards faced by international students and spent time analyzing chronic mental stress claims at the Workplace Safety Insurance Board.
At Windsor Law, Kareena has served as an executive member of the Windsor Law Punjabi Student Association and is the president of the Windsor Law Sikh Student Association. Kareena has also valued serving as a peer-mentor to first year students through these clubs.
In her free time, Kareena co-runs a non-profit called Intertwine which focuses on promoting physical, mental, and social wellbeing to marginalized populations across the GTA. Their events recently have focused on strength training amongst seniors. In addition, she enjoys weightlifting, trying new foods and spending time with family and friends.
