Executive Summary

Leran is returning as an articling student after completing his summer term at the Firm’s Toronto office.

Leran received his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, where he was on the Dean’s List each year and received prizes in both labour law and employment law. He previously completed his Bachelor of Arts in politics and a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University.

Prior to law school, Leran worked as a Labour Relations Consultant for a municipality where he counselled managers on a variety of matters including collective agreement interpretation, workplace investigations, discipline, accommodation, grievances, and bargaining.

During his time at Queen’s, Leran was an editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, co-president of the Queen’s Labour and Employment Club, moot competitor, academic tutor, and teaching assistant.

In his spare time, Leran enjoys trying new restaurants and hiking with his goldendoodle, Daisy.
