Executive Summary
Leran is an associate lawyer practicing in all areas of labour, employment, and human rights law. He returned to the firm as an associate after completing both his summer and articling terms, which included a secondment at the Ontario Labour Relations Board. He has experience assisting clients with grievance arbitrations, employment disputes, workplace investigations, human rights, workers' compensation, and other related issues.
Leran received his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, where he was on the Dean’s List each year and received prizes in both labour law and employment law. He previously completed his Bachelor of Arts in politics and a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University.
Prior to law school, Leran worked as a Labour Relations Consultant for a municipality where he counselled managers on a variety of matters including collective agreement interpretation, workplace investigations, discipline, accommodation, grievances, and bargaining.
In his spare time, Leran enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring the city with his goldendoodle, Daisy.
