Mark A. Stone

Mark Stone has been a partner with the firm since 1997. He advises on all areas of labour and employment law, providing proactive and strategic advice to employers and representing public and private sector employers before labour boards, arbitration boards, courts, and various employment-related tribunals.

He has also acted as lead counsel in many significant collective agreement arbitrations, wrongful dismissal matters and proceedings before both the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Mark has significant experience in collective bargaining negotiations. He's acted as lead spokesperson at the bargaining table for employers in both first collective agreements and renewal agreements. He regularly provides collective agreement drafting advice too.

Mark helps employers navigate strikes and picketing issues, including securing court injunctions against unlawful picketing and handling cease and desist matters before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
