Anja Trapara

Anja is an associate in Filion. Before joining the firm in September 2022, Anja summered and articled at a full-service national firm.

Anja, a proud Hamiltonian, is passionate about labour and employment law. She offers strategic, practical advice to employers of all sizes and industries and is a confident advocate, representing clients effectively in civil courts, employment tribunals, and labour arbitrations.

During law school, Anja served as a peer mentor and co-vice president of the Labour & Employment Law Society. She supported access to justice for Indigenous communities through LEVEL Justice, worked as a Research Assistant, and volunteered with Community Legal Services.

Currently, Anja is the Vice President of Networking and Professional Development at Serbian-Canadian Professionals in Law (SPIL-USP). She is also uniquely multilingual, with a native proficiency in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin languages.
