Hossein Moghtaderi

Hossein is a partner at Filion and is an enthusiastic advocate who offers expert advice and guidance to employers on a wide spectrum of employment, labour, and human rights matters. Hossein takes a practical, determined approach to complex workplace issues, offering innovative guidance in both unionized and non-unionized settings.

Hossien regularly advises clients on disability management issues including both workers’ compensation claims and non-occupational absences and has appeared before courts and administrative tribunals on a broad range of matters.

Beyond his day to day practice, Hossein is an engaged member of the legal community. He is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association, where he has served on the executive of the Labour & Employment Law, and the Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance (SAGDA) sections for over a decade.

Hossein often speaks at conferences, meetings and seminars held by various human resources groups and organizations throughout Ontario.

Hossein serves on the Firm’s Associate and Student Committee, where he actively supports recruitment, development, and mentorship. As a former member of the Firm’s Culture and Diversity Committee, he takes pride in being an advocate for advancing equitable workplaces.
